Sorry for my bad English, I’m French. 
So, i have Ipod touch 3G 32Gb.
And i try to install a software for my itouch.
I’m on Opensuse 12.1 ( KDE ).
I tried software: Amarok, gtkpod, Banshee, and i have library libgpod
But, for all software, I have error when i click on my device: Erreur de verrouillage non gérée (-4) ( in french ) so … Impossible to mount my Ipod

Are you aware of the fact that we have french language subforums? Post your questions there, the french users will at least be able to understand the output.
