Touchpad has been working fine, but now I find that whenever I boot/login to kde, I have to set it up again: Personal Settings -> Input -> Touchpad and enable scrolling/tapping. I’m not sure what I did to cause it to forget its settings; is there a file I should delete in hopes that it will be regenerated?
I should add, that if I check “Automatically start at login” then I get the synaptiks gui open when I login, but the settings still aren’t saved
Do you have
Option “TapButton1” “1”
If not, that may be the cause of the problem; if so, I’ve not had the problem.
Thanks, John, I’ll check.
I added “synaptikscfg init” to kde autostart, so now it works, but I should already have that launched from /etc/xdg/autostart/“Synaptiks touchpad configuration”.
