Switching runlevel at CLI?

Hi,

I run my web server in runlevel 3, but would like to switch to 5 sometime to run some programs now and then. Is it possible to switch back and forth via cli and if so how?

Is this openSUSE 12.1 and using the default systemd? Here is some good info if still using systemd:
