@degure You might want to persue this thread https://forums.opensuse.org/t/black-screen-when-resuming-from-suspend-or-hibernation/176424 also since @JoseskVolpe has a similar setup, they may be able to advise some more…
I’ll check it out, thanks!
ok so, I tested out some more stuff
tried with suse-prime again, but with Optimus UI, thinking it’d change something (it didn’t)
added nosimplefb=1
on the Yast bootloader kernel option, still don’t see my dGPU on switcherooctl list
the last thing I can think of is the drivers, but even so, I have no idea how to verify if the installed drivers are the proprietary ones from NVIDIA or not.
If you didn’t uninstall the drivers, your output shows clearly that the Nvidia drivers are installed:
actually, reading this now, could it be because I’m using Xorg instead of Wayland?
as in, the libnvidia’s name has wayland, would that matter?
This package is installed by default, also on pure X11 systems.
Do you use secureboot ?
If so, did you enroll the certificate in MOK on first reboot after installing the drivers?
I think so yeah, but idk if I did that certificate thing, how would I do that?
well, that’s now out of the way, but switcherooctl list
still doesn’t show the dGPU

but this changed at least, now the NVIDIA graphics card is using the nvidia driver as default
