Switch From Gnome to KDE

Is there an easy way to switch GUIs from Gnome to KDE? I originally installed with Gnome as the default.

TIA

Be sure to make sure gnome session is selected at login

First KDE4 must be installed. If it has not then:

YaST (Enter Root User password) / Software / Software Management / Select View (Top Left) and then **Patterns and look on the left and select …
**
Graphical Environment

X] KDE4 Desktop Environment
X] KDE4 Base System

Then Press the Accept button on the bottom right and allow this to be installed. To then start using KDE, I would restart my PC and in the login screen:

Select Sessions on bottom Left and select KDE Plasma Workspace and then login as normal. You do not need to uninstall GNOME and can run many GNOME applications from KDE. Switching back and forth between KDE & GNOME can cause some odd setting issues, so you normally pick one or the other and stick with it.

Thank You,

I assumed you already had gnome installed
