I suspected also this and I tried without usb and bluetooth attached devices, suspend doesn’t works
ah, ok, here is
pla@plaST-slowroll:~> sudo lsinitrd -m | grep resume
resume
pla@plaST-slowroll:~>
In [s2idle] just about anything can wakeup the system:
The system is woken up from this state by in-band interrupts, so theoretically any devices that can cause interrupts to be generated in the working state can also be set up as wakeup devices for S2Idle.
Try to add mem_sleep_default=deep to the kernel command line and see how it goes.
Could be a driver issue - apparently you might need the i915 for older hardware or the Xe one is more suited to your Graphics card & newer Kernels. Sorry I don’t know how to check your drivers, but maybe you do or someone else can help. I think I saw some reference to i915 on one of your outputs - so maybe updating the driver could help? Assuming your using Kernel >6.18
I rran:
pla@plaST-slowroll:~> sudo update-bootloader --add-option mem_sleep_default=deep
[sudo] password for root:
pla@plaST-slowroll:~> sudo update-bootloader --config
pla@plaST-slowroll:~> sudo update-bootloader --default-settings
kernel=/boot/opensuse-slowroll/7.1.8-1.0.8.sr20260802-default/linux-39e5f3d517ecf96edf293d599c01481c1d137016
initrd=/boot/opensuse-slowroll/7.1.8-1.0.8.sr20260802-default/initrd-69b7e63d2bfb6a8ec2ba632b85bd0a2002a95182
append="root=/dev/nvme0n1p4 splash=silent mitigations=auto quiet security= ia32_emulation=1 mem_sleep_default=deep"
pla@plaST-slowroll:~>
and now suspend works!!!
