SUSE13.1: Increase the size of Duplicity difftar files created by SUSE's default backup program

I’m using the default backup program on SuSE 13.1 - which appears to be Duplicity based. I’m backing up a directory of about 250GB (GIG!) and duplicity is creating a new …

                          duplicity-inc.20141213T125204Z.to.20141213T130648Z.vol1.difftar.gz

                          ...file EVERY 26.2 MB (MEG!)

At this rate I'm going to have 700 billion files.

I can't find a config file where I can change this to a more reasonable value.

                          Can anyone help?

                          Thanks!

If you mean the backup module in YaST, it is not based in duplicity, but
a SUSE creation. The configuration is made at the start, under “Profile
management”. The backup can be multiarchive or not, and in that case you
can define the sizes.

The module is about to disappear from the distribution, so I would not
use it too much.
