Suse will not wake up after suspend to RAM

Hello. When I sleep (suspend to RAM) my Suse, it will never come back out of sleep. The light on the front of the computer blinks when it is asleep, but then when I hit the button to wake it up, the computer itself seems to wake up, but the screen remains blank no matter what I try. Thanks

I have the same problem,
I have a Dell xps m1530 with a nvidia card

I have a Dell Dimension 8300 with an older Nvidia card. Maybe this has something to do with the Nvidia card.

What nvidia driver? mine is 180.22

I’m not entirely sure, but I’m probably using the 173.14.12 since I have an old FX5200 that doesn’t seem to have much support anymore.

I had the same problem but updating to the 180.29 driver fixed it.

I still have this problem with the 180.29 driver

have you tried to switch to a console (ctrl+alt+F1 to F6) and than back to your X session (F7)? This works for me.
In openSUSE 11.0 I had no problems, now I have to do this workaround and really would like to find a permanent solution.
