I tried to build my own custom opensuse through susestudio but after booting it stucks on login screen and no option comes to login.
This happens during the install time only. I started with minimal package and added everything myself including the desktop.
What might be the problem.
Isn’t this more an SUSE Studio question?
Dear NNTP users, thread will be closed now, moved in 10 minutes. Please refrain from posting until after move to suse-studio subforums.
Moved and reopened for posting.
To OP: before we go on, have you got this fixed on G+? We cannot help you if in the meantime you try all kind of other solutions. We have no crystal balls.
I keep getting an error on compile “Build failed during RPM installation, view details” - “Expected 3618 packages, installed 3617.”
So is it absolutely necessary to have “Enable VMware CD-ROM support” enabled for the build process to complete with a live disk option?
Or is it prohibited to put add on files into the “/home/tux/” directory assuming that the added user is “tux”?
Or is it some other problem entirely?
I am unable to build any projects on SuSe Studio because glibc is corrupted on the build server.
The web interface no longer functions properly when selecting additional glibc packages.
Nope. I switch that off all the time, no issues
Please elaborate. Where are you retrieving the additional glibc packages? What does Studio report?

What are you using as your base image?
