SUSE Studio appliance access throws HTTP 500

Steps to duplicate:
Login to SUSE Studio
Click on an appliance to edit it.

I get an HTTP 500, and while the error is nice and customized, it’s
ultimately not helpful. Happening for a couple of hours now. It started
while I was in the middle of building my appliance (the last of a couple
times as I was actively working on an appliance).

I’ve tried refreshing, logging out and in, etc.

Good luck.

For what it is worth, I was able to take a bad appliance of mine, clone
it, and then continue on. Since then I have seen the error a few more
times, and now while I can clone and create a new appliance from a broken
one, as soon as I attempt to build I break the new one again. It sits on
‘Initializing…’ for about 68 seconds, and then it mentions an error
communicating with the server and that’s the end of that appliance.
Something is severely broken.

Good luck.

You might want to escalate this via the forum interface on susestudio.com
or using the KP escalation path.
