Suse restarts my computer when I select shut down

Hi,I have a few questions i hope someone can help me with

  1. I just installed the latest version of suse on my fujitsu siemens amilo laptop, but when I select shut down from the menu it just restarts?

  2. The mouse speed is too fast - how to slow it down in suse?

  1. I’m not sure about this
  2. Are you using KDE? If yes, go to Kmenu (start menu) and go to “configure desktop” you can adjust your mouse there (peripherals)
