Suse Print & File Server Config?? VERY confused

I have searched dozens upon dozens of threads, but no setup quite like this, so I am startinf a new thread…

This is what I have…

  1. Server- OpenSuse11.1- XFCE KDE 3.5, print server, file server installed. (attached is USB HP printer & external USB drive)

  2. Mandriva & WinXP dual boot laptop

  3. Open Suse & WinXP dual boot desktop

  4. Mandriva Desktop

  5. Win Vista Laptop.

The 2 laptops are connected wireless, everything else is hard wired. I want to share the printer & external drive partitions on the network.

Is this possible with the OS11.1 distro, ans is the a how to or doc on this procedure that is easily understood?

I would think Samba is your best choice although there are other ways. A good
