SuSE Linux 9.0 resolution change

Hi,

I have a SuSe Linux 9.0 box at work and my boss has asked me to change the video resolution that it displays. I only have command line interface.

Please advise how I can change the resolution.

Su to root & issue the command

sax2

& change it there

Andy

I get an error message.

malcolm:/etc # sax2
-bash: sax2: command not found

Do I have to install sax2? If yes, how do I go about doing it as I am new to Suse.

Is this on the test?

I get this error message:

machine:~ # /usr/sbin/sax2
-bash: /usr/sbin/sax2: No such file or directory
machine:~ #
