SUSE KDE menus

On my SUSE boxes, the KDE menu has that great search feature where you
can type the name of an application and it highlights the menu tree to
it. What’s that called? On my Debian boxes I don’t have that, and it’s
really handy!

bump please.

what you bumping?

there is only one question in the one message thread you bumped:
“What’s that called?”

of course it is called “KMenu Search” (or something like that)

or maybe the OP was using the SUSE Menu (a variation of the standard
KDE Menu system)…it also has a search function, so it would called
“openSUSE KMenu Search” (or something like that)…

imo the initial posting didn’t need a answer, and sure didn’t need to
be bumped…

ymmv, obviously…

Don’t know what bumping is, but I did need an answer or I wouldn’t have
asked the question. I tried doing a google search, but didn’t find the
answer. Maybe “KMenu Search” is what it’s called - I’ll follow up on
that. I am using the KMenu, not SUSE menus…
