I just want to say thanks to all the developers and others who make SUSE 11.1 what it is…fantastic. Thank you.

I am not very good with computers, and over the years have tried many linux distros, I’m fatally attracted by the idea that people can work together on projects they luv for free and the outcome of their work benefits others. Over the years I’ve been down the Redhat, then Fedora, Ubuntu, Gentoo (nasty experience for me that one LOL) and many other distro paths.

I always come back to SUSE for stability, reliability and now with 11.1 ease of use. Yep even a non-computer person like me can have an “out of the box”, hassle free install giving a mind blowing system on a old PC.

My tired Semperon and ATI9800 with measy 1Gb ram now sports a fantastic KDE4 desktop with all the effects, and runs like a dream.

My Mac luvin and Windoz mates with their brand new machines are sucking it in.

Also, your machine is nothing. I have a box running SUSE 11.1 with KDE 4.2.2 on an old P4 Northwood (2.4 GHz) with only 512 megs of RAM and an ancient GeForce 2 MX400. I think your friends will be more jealouse seeing my machine running smoothly a shiny kde4 :smiley:
