I am working with SUSE 12, and want to have xrdp on my windows system.
I install xrdp on the system. when i am trying to do the remote desktop i am getting login screen.
but after successful login for some seconds i see black screen and after that rdp session has been crashed.
It was working 2 weeks ago and after restart rdp stopped working.
Have anyone has this issues before? And how do i get RDP working again?
When you mean SUSE LInux Enterprise (SLES/SLED) 12, then you are at the wrong forums (these here being the openSUSE forims).
When you wanted to type openSUSE 12, then you really have an old, long unsupported version. Not that people here are unwilling to help you, but their memory may fail on those old times and they can not of course try to replay your problem on one of their own system.
Sounds like Xrdp is actually running but the window manager launch has failed. That is controlled by the file /etc/xrdp/startwm.sh and that file may have been updated. Over the years I have seen many versions of it and now run a custom version on my main system.
