SuSE 12.2 Lockup during boot udev problem

Boot is finally successful after anywheres from 5 to 9 or 10 reboots. The failure occurs after udev is started and gives the following information:
[11.882372] sp5100_tco: mmio address 0xb8fed0 already in use. System is solidly locked up at this point and I can only re-boot and try again.
System is Asus M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3 motherboard with AMD quad core processer
Thanks for any help

Hi
If you blacklist the module as a temporary fix, does it stop locking up?

There is an old bug report…
