SUSE 12.1 KDE Taskbar Restore?

Somehow my taskbar got screwed. I did something and suddenly the [System Tray] and [Clock] got shifted left, next to [App Launcher].

I did get to the [Panel Tool Box] but I could not just move tray & clock where they should be (right). They kept snapping back left.

Tried adding a panel but it would add at top of desktop not next to existing panel at bottom.

Found a work-a-round by adding a flex-spacer between [App Launcher] and [System Tray] and [Clock], but now open windows don’t show in taskbar.

How do I restore my taskbar to default :embarrassed:

Try adding the pager widget back into the taskbar.

Sounds like you deleted the task manager widget
Add it back in

FYI: You could, in desperation… delete the panel and add back default panel

Once you finish, lock the widgets so you don’t have any more accidents.

THANKS  that was it.

You are most welcome

You saved my day on openSUSE 12.3

I deleted the panel and then added it back.

I tried to have the calculator icon to the left, but then my clock was suddenly to the left too.
For reasons I do not understand, dragging it back did not work, and suddenly the programs I started, did not show any-more on the panel.

After deleting and adding the panel again, I was able to drag the calculator icon, to the spot I wanted it, and the clock stayed were it was.

KDE has a habit of doing wonderfully odd things
