Suse 11, Yast does not start in KDE 4.0 or 4.1

Yast works well in Gnome, but does not start once clicked in KDE 4.0 or 4.1

Any ideas? I can access it through the console.

In a console, what is the output of the following:

$ su -

yast2

me too.but mine is in kde 3.5
yet,it can work well in gnome.

Thanks! I typed su -
entered my root password
then yast2 and it started the gui. Why does it work there but not in my application menu?

What is the command in your menu entry for YaST?
