Suse 11.4 - KDE bug

I have the all the latest updates from yast. I recently installed the nvidia drivers. I have a black fuzzy line near the top of the screen. At the task bar(bottom of the screen.), all the menus now appear at the top of screen. How do I fix this? Thanks.

Test a new user login. If it’s OK
Then I guess some settings got ‘Jeffed up’ in .kde4
If it’s the same, you have a deeper problem

I have seen this once after an update a logout and login again fixed it, did
you try that?
Another way to “repair” a screwed window manager is to restart it from a
terminal, open konsole and write


kwin --replace &

An update and reboot fixed it.
