suse 11.3 lost ubuntu 10.10

Suse 11.3 installed to sata b. Ubuntu is on sata a. Grub starts with no ubuntu on the list. Suse runs excellent on sata b but where is Ubuntu? How to get it back on the grub list?

Hi, I am not sure if my advice is right but I hope it points into the right direction.
To put ubuntu on the list you’ve to edit /boot/grub/menu.lst. Depending on your setup you could add something like this to menu.lst

title ubuntu
    rootnoverify (hd1,0)
    chainloader +1

“fdisk -l” and “cat /etc/fstab” will tell you about your partitions. As far as I remember there already are some threads in the forums on dualbooting ubuntu and suse. Maybe they have the solution to your problem. If you are stuck, post the contents of menu.lst and the output of fdisk -l.

Good luck!
