SuSE 11.2 hangs on udev...

Hello

for a time of more than 2 weeks i try to install from a dvd drive.

i tried many options, so

vga=normal
noapci
noudev

always the same: after loading kernel the machine hangs for hours on this message “starting udev…”

System crashes, no response on numlock key - nothing

I tried 11.0, 11.1, 11.2, 11.3 Milestone 5

I have no idea

On what kind of PC are you trying to install it and what kernel are you
using? This happens to me when I try to install it on a Acer One with
the desktop kernel, so try changing to another kernel, default or vanilla
