SuSE Friends,
Am trying an install of SuSE 11.1 - via the 32-bit Network CD - on an IBM NetVista 2254
CD boots fine, and the kernel apparently loads fully, but the machine then apruptly panics and reboots (I have used this same CD before, so it’s OK)
Have tried the Text Mode and edd=off options, as well as noacpi, all to no avail.
As we never get to a text console, I have no idea what’s happening, so cannot diagnose…
What next?
