Suse 11.0 LiveCD via Vaio i.Link hangs

I wanted to try Opensuse 11.0 LiveCD om my Sony Vaio VGN-X505VP. It starts booting, lets me choose the Live System, starts booting and hangs approx. 1 minute later.

On the error console, it displays that cd/dvd-drive is not found (although at the beginning the system is loaded/booted until the position when it hangs from my external CD/DVD-burner).

I use the external Sony CD/DVD-Burner which is connected via I.Link.

BTW, Kubuntu Hardy Heron LiveCD works fine.

Boot in text mode hangs alike.
How can I install Suse? Does anyone have a workaround?
