New install of Suse 11.0 freezes on reboot but shuts down ok. Also freezes when calling reboot from the command line. The ending statements on the screen just before the stall are:
/dev/sda8 unmounted
/dev/sda6 unmounted
stopping udevd
“Please standby while rebooting the system”
Hardware is a Dell Optiplex 330 running an Intel core 2 duo. I have been looking at the man pages and I have the Open Suse “Bible” that came with the dvd but have not been able to find a path to solving this problem. I suppose I could reinstall suse 10.2, it worked ok. I will appreciate any help. Thanks
