SUSE 10.2 + WIN XP

English Install/Boot/Login

I am about to install Win XP, for a dual boot. I already have SUSE 10.2. Lets say that linux partition is hdd2, and hdc4(vfat) for windows that will be installed. I know I will have to restore GRUB, but I am not sure for the process. As I read on different sites:

-SUSE DVD should boot
-instead “New installation”, “Repair” is chosen(under Other Options)
-“Install new GRUB”

I look forward if anyone will answer to that, so I don’t make any error or cause a data loss.

To re-install grub:
HowTo Boot into openSUSE when it won’t Boot from the Grub Code on the Hard Drive

Then to add a boot to the menu to boot XP
