On my fresh install of OpenSUSE Tumbleweed, I need to open many files which are in Apple HEIC and MOV.
What’s the easiest way to open these on my system ? Is it the libheif package ? What about MOV videos ?
I use KDE Plasma.

Yes, libheif is the one, sounds like you have not switched some patent encumbered packages to the third party packman repository?

And of course, as long as he does not have the repo, he can not do the switch.
