I apologies, I misunderstood the meaning of the description of the forum. Thought it was a “free for all” (less religion and politics) type of thing. Won’t happen again. On this note, is there a chat room type thing for Linux that is hosted “around” here"

Well, as a moderator, I don’t see a problem with it - but short messages
like the ones you were posting are generally more of an SMS thing; when
they show up in forums, they do tend to trip some people’s ‘potential
spammer’ detectors.

Check out http://en.opensuse.org/Communicate - it sounds like you’re
thinking IRC.
