Substitute for moc audio player

openSUSE 13.2 64bit KDE

I’ve been using moc for years but suddenly with openSUSE 13.2 it refuses to play or even list mp3 files. It plays flacs. I have been unable to track the problem down. Kaffeine, Smplayer and xmms all work.

Could someone recommend a simple music file player (CLI is fine) that works with a directory structure? That does not index or build its own database. That plays files in their directory order.

That was fast! Many thanks. I did search with Google for “moc mp3” but did not get to the link above. How would I get to such a link the next time I have a similar problem. That way you wouldn’t have to get involved.
