Strange YouTube video play when they were just uploaded

Hi,

I find it very strange that I can not play YouTube videos that have just been uploaded.
What I mean by that is, a video that has been uploaded for about less than an hour won’t play. I get a error message to try again later. Usually after about 1 hour the video will just play fine.

I did not have this with Tumbleweed (not installed anymore - just tested), and I do not have this with a windows installation.

I do get this on all my computers that I install openSUSE Leap.

I had already checked if there is any difference in my installed multimedia libraries between Tumbleweed and Leap but can not find any.

Anyone out there know how I could check further and fix this?

(P.S. - It does not make any difference if I use a Flash player plugin or HTML5 video plugin)

You are uploading a video to youtube or trying to watch one? If uploading, possibly youtube have a time period before releasing it to the masses.
If you are downloading the full video using youtubedownloader or similar, then perhaps you have to wait for the download to finish before playing it locally.
If you are just trying to see the video in youtube’s site, then it should start after a few seconds, as it is being streamed. You could try another browser.
