Strange things with my webcam

I have a Logitech Quickcam Pro 4000 webcam which is supposed to work OK with Linux.
I use Open SUSE 11.0 and under gqcam I have multiple images. And in black & white.

So, I wonder: is this a problem of gqcam or a driver problem?
The only thing that maybe I didn’t do right is to install the Gspca/Spca5xx driver found here: HCL/Web Cameras - openSUSE because my camera isn’t on the list of UVC compliant webcams.

My camera is seen as:
Bus 005 Device 002: ID 046d:08b2 Logitech, Inc. QuickCam Pro 4000

and it’s working fine in Windows.

Any suggestions?

I’m not sure that you have the right driver. I found a fairly old report claiming that this camera works with Linux: WebCam under Linux. Maybe this helps.
