The default kernel, this is what you normally boot.

The default kernel booted with failsafe configuration, mostly disabling
configurations that might render a system unbootable under certain
circumstances.

Unless you need the kernel kernel-trace package, you can remove it. The most
common error seems to be to install ALL of NVIDIA’s (or other) kmp’s and end
up with kernel-trace as a dependency.
