I have lost my corded mouse twice in the last two days.
Same symptoms. I can move the pointer about but cannot click on any
windows or menus. I can navigate using the keyboard to close the apps
and then logout of my session at which time my mouse begins functioning
properly again. Bizarre. Any ideas on how I could use a shell to ‘reboot’
my mouse so I don’t have to exit all my apps and logout? Really annoying.
