Stick doesn't boot with opensuse, but with other distributions there are no problems

Hello,
I’m trying to boot Leap 15.3 from an USB-Stick on my new laptop. This is a HP 255 G8 with W10 Pro. I wite the Stick with Imagewriter on Opensuse tumbleweed. If I write an ISO from kubuntu or knoppix with Imagewriter, I can select the Stick during the booting and all is fine. If I write openSUSE-Leap-15.3-DVD-aarch64-Current.iso with Imagewriter to the same stick, I cann not select the Stick in the Boot-Menu. I’m totally baffled, why seemingly any other Distribution is bootable after writing it to my stick, only exception seems to to opensuse; so any help or sugestions are welcome.

Best Regards

Thomas

The HP 255 G8 has an AMD Ryzen processor, so you need the x86_64 version (as shown for “Intel or AMD 64-bit desktops, laptops, and servers (x86_64)” here ); what you used is for the aarch64 architecture of the ARM processors.

And, by the way, welcome to the openSUSE Forums!
