Steam is giving me the same error that tumbleweed gave me while trying to run it. Works flawlessly on 42.1 not on TW and 42.2 This bug as been reported to github since it affects more users, but since opensuse page tells users to report it here, here it goes:

Hello ******
Thank you for contacting Steam Support.
We apologize for the delay.
Steam for Linux is currently only supported on Ubuntu 12.04 and higher with Unity, Gnome, or KDE desktops.
If you are running another distribution of Linux, we will not be able to provide support. We recommend you install Ubuntu 12.04/12.10 for the best Steam experience on Linux.
