Where is my Steam folder located and how do I get access?

Should be in exactly the same place it was in earlier releases -
typically located under ~/.local as I recall.

For some reason the folder doesn’t show up in the directory
it has a leading period thus is hidden you have to show hidden to see it
I knew that was the problem. I finally figured out how to view hidden files. Thanks a lot.rotfl!
