starting udev… udevd-event[131] ‘sbin/modprobe’ abnormal exit
i have reported this error at the time 7.10, no solution were offered
I thought this problem might be resolved in 7.11, still i am getting same error
can anyone help
I tried will availabe combination of boot setting like acpi=off, moload apic etc…
same problem, would not start in GUI mode, so went to text and it hangs at Starting udev…
Try this,
reboot your PC goto bios settings, select power option(mostly a seperate tab) and disable timer settings which is mostly with a strange 4 letter name.

make it to
“XXXX” <Disable>
Reboot and try installing opensuse
