Starting Over - Fresh Install Via Live USB

Currently running 11.3 on my netbook, and would like to do a fresh install all over again. So I did what I did my first time; downloaded the DVD ISO. Used imagewriter to place it on my usb stick and start from there with installation. Now, I insert my USB flash drive and it’s like GRUB is deciding to ignore it and just boots up all normal. I even edited my BIOS to read my USB drive first… and still starts up all normal.

So I basically want to install openSUSE all over again. Nice and fresh! The reason being is that I originally installed the Live KDE version, but now want to have the full version installed. Too many errors with repositories and constant downloads… Kinda got a annoying.

How do I get a fresh install of openSUSE?

AFAIK the DVD can not easily be used on a USB flash. Use a CD version of the installer.
