I just installed opensuse 12.1 and my main user is NOT root, has a different password from root, is not part of the root group yet when I open things from the start menu that should prompt for a root password, they just open without prompting for a password! How do I fix this?
Please ignore this, it turned out to be I’m an idiot and hadn’t ejected the CD.
