Start backlight of keyboard along with kdm-Opensuse 13.2,kde4

Hi all,
Recently started using Opensuse, dual boot with my windows 7.
i have been using this backlight keyboard called “CMSTORM DEVASTATOR”
in windows/BIOS i use “scroll lock” to start backlight.

But in opensuse this command help

xset led 3

to turn it on
I have added it in the “.bashrc” for autostart along with my login using yakauke terminal.
I would be glad if this command be run along with KDM so that i can have the backlight for entering password.
i would also like to have the toggle function as in windows.

You can run arbitrary commands/applications on the login screen via /etc/X11/xdm/Xsetup.
Try to add “xset led 3” there, you probably don’t even have to run it in .bashrc then any more (btw, ~/.xinitrc or /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc.d/ would be a better place…).
