sssd - Unable to load modules cache_KRBDOMAIN.ldb

Hi,

I configured the “sssd” few weeks ago and everything working fine.

After some update, the “sssd” stop working and i get the following error:

(Tue Jun 12 11:12:52 2012) [sssd] [ldb] (0x0010): WARNING: Module [memberof] not found - do you need to set LDB_MODULES_PATH?
(Tue Jun 12 11:12:52 2012) [sssd] [ldb] (0x0010): Unable to load modules for /var/lib/sss/db/cache_KRBDOMAIN.ldb: (null)

Does somebody had same problem?
Someone has idea how to solve this problem?

Opensuse 12.1, 64bit
Sssd: 1.5.1, or 1.8.3 (both versions give the me same problem)

Thanks for reply.

Jan

Jan,
Have you added the “debug_level = 7” directive to the target domain stanza in the /etc/sssd/sssd.conf file? Some increased verbosity in the domain log may help.

Two things I would try:

  • Verify the kerberos provider is actually still installed (sssd-krb5)
  • Delete the relevant cache file ( /var/lib/sss/db/cache_KRBDOMAIN.ldb), if the collected offline data is not worth keeping, and restart the daemon.

Hope it helps,
