SSH Client recommendation

Hi all,

Setting up an OpenSuse11 Server.

I would to know which ssh client would you guys recommend for my Opensuse11 desktop. Maybe which package repository is it sitting in as well.

Thanks a whole bunch, Y’all.

Most operating systems in the world come with an SSH client. There is a
putty version for Linux that I’ve never tried but it seems silly since a
very robust client already exists.

Open a shell, type ‘ssh’.

To open a shell press Alt+F2, then type ‘xterm’, ‘gnome-terminal’,
‘konsole’, etc.

Good luck.

Thanks, ab

I kinda figured as much that the default would be enough.

Thanks again

Hi
You can also use your Nautilus with sftp://username@server or in
Konqueror fish://username@server. As a gnome user I tend to use gftp as
this handles various protocols.

Didn’t know that.
