I’ve setup SSH on a couple of PCs on my lan and everything is running fine. I’ve also spent some time learning the command line and am finding its flexibility and power to be amazing.
Anyway, my question is, when I connect to another PC and log in, a string prints saying ‘Have a lot of fun…’ or something like that. Where do I need to look to edit that text to replace with say some ascii art or a more personal message? Not that I’m not having fun, but there could be so much more joy.
Not quite sure what to search for. Any help would be appreciated.
Yes, this is Linux after all. I almost gave the wrong answer though
remembering the ‘Banner’ option in /etc/ssh/sshd_config but that’s for
before the login takes place which isn’t what you were after. Anyway,
that’s also an option for customization.
Good luck.
