I currently have 11.1 installed on my server. I plan to do a fresh install of 11.3 in order to utilize the trimming feature for SSD that I was told it comes with.
Does this feature enable itself automatically during install? Or is there some special task I have to perform? Maybe a check box somewhere?

From what I can determine, support for trimming came with 2.6.33, so 11.3 (using 2.6.34-12 kernel) should have this, but it also appears to dependent on both the SSD hardware and file systems used. (You may know that already).
