SRC OSS repo empty

Hello all,

I installed OpenSuse 11.1 not long ago. It’s been a while I didn’t play with rpm’s. My main goal is to run OpenSuse from source. I hope I can have this system running with everything compiled.

I just added the source packages SRC-OSS and SRC-NON-OSS taken from Package Repositories - openSUSE

I launched Yast and there’s no packages on both repos list.
Can someone guide me on how to update those source repos?

Thank you in advance.

maybe:

sudo zypper ref

I did a refresh but without any success.
I did another test by adding the Gnome Stable repos and I got the list of the packages on the Software management.
Just to be sure, here’s my setting for src-oss:

Server name:download.opensuse.org
Directory on server: /source/distribution/11.1/repo/oss/

Is this right?

Would you know if it’s possible for OpenSuse whole system to be compiled from source?

Thank you in advance.

-John
