Squid, DHCP server, Internet Gateway for Local LAN.

Hi there, I’m trying for half month already to setup a Opensuse 12.3 with DHCP server and a Proxy Squid.

Wanna to work like this: the internet is working at the eth1 card and the local lan will access trough the eth0 all the traffic that goes trough eth0 should be proxed, and the server should provide the dhcp for the local lan eth0 not my cable modem.

Anyone there that could help me out?

First fallow this how to here: SDB:Internet connection sharing - openSUSE Wiki

Install squid with yast and add http_port 3128 transparent

Then add this two iptables rule as mentioned in this post https://forums.opensuse.org/english/get-technical-help-here/network-internet/487737-iptables-rules-susefirewall2.html
