Squashfs??

I am trying to update from 13.1 to 13.2. The image is on a USB stick. It starts out fine, going through several screens of information. Then I receive the following messages after which the process quits.

mount:/parts/00_lib: we need a loop device
mount: using /dev/loop0
Integrating /parts /01_usr
/parts/01_usr: type=squashfs

What is this telling me and what do I do about it?

Lizzie

I don’t know that there is anything to do about it. I’m not seeing that it is reporting a problem. Maybe there was another problem that caused it to quit.

I’ll try booting my 13.2 live KDE system soon, and see what messages show up.

“squashfs” is a compressed file system. That’s what is used on live media.
