Spotifyd "Failed to preset unit"

As the titles suggests, upon installing the spotifyd package I get the message “Failed to preset unit: Unit file spotifyd.service does not exist.”

I’ve followed the spotifyd documentation which tells me to create my own spotifyd.service but systemctl isn’t picking it up. Currently the package appears to be unusable. Am I missing something?

Ask for it to be upgraded. 0.3.3 is almost 2 years old now and 0.3.5 has been out since April.
