Spotify doesn't block Sleep and Screen Locking when audio is played

Hello,

Usually, when I play media whether it be a YouTube video from a web browser or whatever media from VLC or mpv, it registers and prevents the screen from turning off. However, this isn’t the case with the Spotify flatpak app. Is there a way to make it to function properly?

I don’t want to create a script to auto-block the screen from going to sleep when the app is opened.

I also tried going to Flatseal and enabling D-Bus Session bus and D-Bus System bus. I’ve already tried making it use Wayland windowing system. None of these fixed the problem.

It is closed source software, so you have to ask Spotify.

Did it work before 2021?
What about the snap one?
