Splash Theme not showing up on Login

Hello people, I just installed the latest snapshot for OpenSuse Tumbeed (x64) with Plasma DE and everything seemed to work fine until I then installed the nVidia Drivers G06 for my PCI-E VGA

The issue is not critical but weird and I am trying to find a solution. After I log in on the SDDM screen I DO NOT see the splash theme into the desktop, just a black screen few seconds and then the Desktop.

I went and changed the Splash Theme to check and reboot but it didn’t change the behavior, in fact I also checked and the changes for the splash theme to use were applied on the /home/myuser/.config/ksplashrc but never showed up on login.

So I went and deleted the file as someone suggested in other thread without success. However… after entering with my user, if I log off and log in again o the SDDM screen then YES there the splash theme is shown, but never on the first boot/reboot.

This behavior is the same on X11 and Wayland, checked on both. Have no clue what is going on but it is kind of annoying and don’t know exactly how to solve it or check what is happening or troublesoot it, so please I ask for help.

I don’t add more detailed info from fastfetch here because I am not at home with the computer but wanted to ask ASAP so when I come back I can try something or check for stuff you tell me people to look for.

Thanks!

It’s been sometime so I can’t edit it seems.

UPDATE: The issue does not happen when entering directly on boot/restart choosing X11, however it happens with Wayland.
Then if I log-off and log-in again it shows the splash screen in both, X11 AND Wayland.

At this point I am not sure what could it be, recreated the .config and .cache folders to check and I can always replicate the issue no matter what.

So… fresh start only shows splash screen after SDDM if login with X11 but not Wayland
Log-off and Log-in after already entering shows splash screen after SDDM when login with both X11 and Wayland.

Thoughts?
